The quirky, trouble-making girl of the twenty-first century captured our hearts and withheld the test of time, making it our highest rated DCOM from 1998-2001. #2 – The Color of Friendship

We were honestly all quite afraid to revisit this acclaimed DCOM. It was shown in schools and on tv, recieved crazy high ratings and was loved by many. Which is why it was so great to see that this movie still stood in the ‘woke’ era we are in now. So many difficult issues to tackle, and this movie did exactly what it needed to.

#3 – Brink!

If you don’t know the blessing that is Brink! Then you don’t know what you are missing, brah! Brink took us on a journey, a journey of friendship, family, money, fame. If the soulskating doesn’t draw in you in, maybe the sweet slang will. No? How about Erik von Detten? Either way, we loved it enough to turn it into our own religion. XBLADZ For Life!

#4 – Smart House

Smart House definitely stands out as one of the best DCOMs around. We were all excited to revisit this classic dcom and it was just as epic as we remembered. This kid entered to win a house and ended up winning a weird…digital…mother…ai. Yeah pretty sweet. Things get sucked right into the carpet. There’s really sweet dancing. And a hint of a romance.

#5 – Stepsister From Planet Weird

Now, this movie might not be something you remember. We didn’t really remember it at all. That’s why this is our favorite hidden DCOM gem. The one thing we did remember though? Four kids blowing away a giant bubble man alien.

Yeah thats right. This movie is a little odd, featuring a bubble alien father and daughter taking refuge on earth. This is definitely an angsty, “they dont get me” teen galatical drama that feels something like a cult classic.
